WHAKAPONO 20 From Buddy class to making our Art

What can we say??... A big thank you to our samoan community in our school and classrooms who were able to cater for our classes. In our ILE hub, we were catered by Anita's mum, Joseph's family, Wendy's family, Sonya's grandma and Mr Sagote, who brought in authentic samoan food, also with our New Zealand chips, cakes and biscuits that were brought in.  Fa'afetai lava mo mea'ai.

During our week we were able to make Suafa'i withour buddy class Aroha 6. This was a good acheivement, as children had not really eaten it before. We are happy they gave it a go.

We also did Art, our inspiration was a Samoan Painter Fatu Feu'u. He reigns for Poutasi Falealili.

We really enjoyed doing our Art.
